Privacy Policy

This notice explains how Skin Doctors Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine (“Skin Doctors,” “we,” or “us”) handles information you give us through skindoctors.ph, our online appointment booking, complimentary skin analysis invitation, and connected Facebook Messenger booking flow.

Effective September 28, 2026.

Information we receive

Appointments: your name, mobile number and/or email, selected date and time, preferred contact channel, booking source, booking reference, and booking status.
Skin analysis invitations: your name, mobile number and/or email, voucher reference, issue date, and redemption status. A staff member’s account may be recorded when a voucher is redeemed.
Messenger booking: when you interact with our connected Facebook Page, Meta sends your Page-specific Messenger identifier and the message or button action needed to respond. We use a temporary encrypted referral in the booking link to connect a completed booking to that conversation. The referral expires after 24 hours.
Basic technical information: limited request data needed to run and protect the site, including a temporary, hashed network-address value used to limit repeated form submissions.

Please do not put medical details in booking or voucher contact fields. Information you give us during a consultation or through other clinic channels may be handled under separate clinic processes.

How we use it

To create and manage appointments and one-use skin analysis vouchers.
To show your booking or voucher confirmation, identify your record, and help our team handle changes or redemption.
To contact you about your visit through the details or channel you selected. For a linked Messenger booking, we may send an immediate confirmation in that conversation.
To secure the service, prevent duplicate or abusive submissions, and respond to requests about your information.

Submitting a booking or voucher does not sign you up for promotional marketing. Automated WhatsApp and Instagram confirmations, and scheduled Messenger reminders, are not currently enabled.

Our basis and your choice

We ask for your agreement when you submit a booking or claim an invitation so we can use the details for that request. You can decline, but we will be unable to create the online booking or voucher without the required information. We may also process information where necessary to deliver a requested service, protect the site, or meet a legal obligation, as applicable.

Who can access it

Authorized Skin Doctors staff can access booking and voucher records for clinic operations. Our website hosting and database providers process data to operate this service. For a Messenger conversation, Meta also handles data under its own privacy terms. We do not sell the personal information submitted through these forms. Service providers may process or store data outside the Philippines; we use access controls and reasonable safeguards for the online service.

Embedded videos

Some pages contain YouTube videos using its privacy-enhanced player. Loading or playing these videos connects to YouTube/Google, which may process technical information and interactions under its own privacy policy. You can also open the videos directly on YouTube.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and voucher records while needed to administer visits, answer questions, maintain an accurate redemption or appointment history, and meet applicable recordkeeping requirements. The temporary Messenger referral expires after 24 hours; technical rate-limit records expire after a short period. If you request deletion, we will review it and remove information that we no longer need or are not required to keep. You may ask us about the retention period for your particular record.

Security

We restrict staff access to booking and voucher information and use HTTPS and service access controls. A booking confirmation or voucher link can reveal your details to someone who has the link; please keep it private. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Access, correction, and deletion requests

You may ask to access, correct, or delete information you submitted through this site, withdraw consent where applicable, or raise a privacy concern. Email info@skindoctors.ph with the subject “Privacy request,” or contact the clinic at 0932 520 3490. Tell us whether your request relates to a booking, voucher, or Messenger conversation and include a reference number if you have one. We may verify your identity before acting so another person cannot change or receive your record.

Facebook data deletion instructions: To request deletion of information received through our Messenger booking connection, email info@skindoctors.ph with “Messenger data deletion” in the subject. Include your Page conversation name or a booking reference, but do not send passwords or sensitive medical information. We will identify the relevant records and explain any information we must retain.

Your rights under Philippine data privacy law include being informed, access, correction, objection, and erasure or blocking in applicable circumstances. You may also bring a complaint to the National Privacy Commission.
